International PPs question

In the past performances for European horses, I often see the comment "T. k. h." Is there anyone out there who can teach me what this means? I posted this question to Reddit before this past Breeders' Cup, and to date it's the only thing I've ever asked Reddit that no one seemed to know the answer to. It came up again today in the PPs for Improvise in the 9th at Gulfstream. Please help!! :)

Probably means "took keen hold" as in horse was aggressively on the bit (on the spectrum towards being eager, rank, fighting restraint, running off)

That interpretation was what I was l leaning toward. If I don't get a definitive answer, I suppose I could go back and watch all of the races where "t.k.h." shows up in the comment line and figure it out for myself? And I never would have thought k stood for "keen" if I hadn't listened to Trevor Denman call all of those races!:)

I'm certain that's what it is. I've seen it written out several times in running lines; just never seen it abbreviated.

If you're unsure and want the full comment line, search for the horse's profile on Attheraces, the full running line will come up (if it was a UK/IRE race)

Thank you so much! I was never aware of this website, and it does provide a lot more information about how the UK/Ireland races unfolded. Thanks again!! :tro:
