Hey Joel, I would say that horse is a hell of a lot better than Scat Daddy.

sumitas 11-25-2006 02:32 PM

impressive from the break to the wire. heady, explosive race.

All aboard the bandwagon.

And he's still goofy.. Was staring at the grandstand, doing his same old tricks.. Corny leaning right throwing the reins at him.. Still opening up and straight as an arrow.

Wait until he really develops.

Boys, just remember who called this horse as their Derby horse for 2007 first;)

Also, Tiz Wonderful is a monster. I might actually jump from Nobiz Like Shobiz's Bandwagon to Tiz Wonderful's bandwagon depending on how Tiz Wonderful wins today. And yes, I think that he is going to win.

ArlJim78 11-25-2006 03:25 PM

I've been on the band wagon for some time. Every one of his races has impressed me, in terms of how he gets it done.

Kudos to Tagg for skipping the BCJ. I think that is the reason you saw such a splendid performance today.

Without ground loss, he loses. Don't think he wants to go a distance like No Biz does.

hockey2315 11-25-2006 03:35 PM

I'll take a Futures Derby box right now- Tiz Wonderful, Nobiz Like Shobiz, and Any Given Saturday. . .

kentuckyrosesinmay 11-25-2006 03:47 PM

IMO, both horses are going to be able to go the distance. I also predicted that Nobiz Like Shobiz would win the Derby next year after he broke his maiden. Love that guy. I also definitely agreed with Tagg skipping the BC and actually got into an argument with a few on here about it.

Asmussen and Tagg are loaded. They are holding lightening in their hands. Smart move by both of them in skipping the BCJ. Smart move.

All aboard!!! Let's get this bandwagon rolling.

Danzig 11-26-2006 09:07 AM

they should call it a merry go round instead.
it gets really amusing seeing people leap from horse to horse as each prep is run. of course a few stay faithful to one, while many proclaim each winner as the next secretariat.
and then hilarity ensues when multiple prep races are run the same day. it's amazing how many second comings of (insert name here of legendary horse here) there are out there. this was a rare year, the '06 winner really couldn't be knocked by anyone. prior years we had giacomo, smarty on his off track-seems many thought he was a specialist, and funny cide.

Didn't Scat Daddy blow by Nobiz when they actually raced? It is possible both horses just are not that fast. The lack of progression in the beyers for Nobiz is a little troubling. Consistent mid 90's.

The two at Churchill looked like better horses. I expect that Any Given Saturday to be better than Nobiz and Tiz Wonderful.

he did go by at the end of a stiff drive. no biz in only his second start ran well while having to wait for room on the backstretch.

no that's not possible. they are both actually quite fast although No Biz is the horse that I am partial to. i have noticed progression in each of No Biz's start's.

The ones at Churchill looked okay also, but I was not as impressed. The pace and speed figures that I use tell me that Any Given Saturday is nowhere near No Biz at this point. Tiz Wonderful certainly looks good, but the fact that a horse like Any Given Saturday gave him such a test, having to work so hard to put him away, is not inspiring to me.

Take a look at the stretch run of the Remson, look how No Biz is galloping strongly with his head up and little encouragement. I'm telling you this horse has got game.
