Happy Ticket retired

hands down one of the more beautiful horses in racing and a career to be proud of.

Gonna miss her not running next year, at least she retired healthy
Hopefully she can pass her quality and class to her foals. To bad
she couldn't go out a winner in this years La. Bred Championship Day

Ap Indy would be a very strong bet.

Maybe a lesser known Stallion? I'd say Mineshaft or maybe even our very own First Sam? They'll end up going to the high end market though I think. AP Indy, Gaint's Causeway or one of the other Kentucky farm horses.

maybe vindication...or maybe mineshaft...
or go to include, her foal would also be free of dancer/mrp, which is hard to find these days.

guess it all depends on what they're looking for. but a little bit fun to speculate.

just hate to always see 'going to storm cat'. let's show some originality for a change!!

I was a really big fan of this mare, especially after she beat Oonagh Maccool this past spring. I hope she passes her quality on to her offspring. Maybe they will send her to AP Indy or Giant's Causeway. AP Indy I hope.

On another note, I tell you a horse that I really like as a sire prospect is First Samuri. I also think this may sound crazy, but I also like Giacomo as a sire prospect. I think these two youngsters are going to have a lot of nice offspring.

I hope she goes to a more regally bred stallion like an AP Indy or Storm Cat. I know you see it all the time, but what she can add to a horse with those kind of regal edigrees is a killer instinct. Let the male supply the bloodlines, let Happy Ticket supply the grit and guts. She was a gamer and will be missed.

She isn't free of Seattle Slew blood, though- her dam is by Septieme Ciel, who is by Seattle Slew. I doubt they would breed her to Indy or another Slew-line stallion
