Has ridden about as well as anyone this meet at Del Mar. He won his second stake of the meet in the gr 2 Hollywood Turf Cup yesterday and has behaved well all meet.

I know he's a controversial figure and has done some really dumb things in the past. But it's worth mentioning he's having a mini career revival this meet.

it wasn't that long ago he was struggling at Golden Gate.

He gave Say the Word a great ride ( something Joe Bravo cannot say ). He's such a frustrating rider because he's also one of the all time greats....he just doesn't ride like it very often.

And on another career revival note in the Mid-America market, Bejarano seems like he's woken up from an extended slumber.

No doubt. Maybe throw Talamo in there too to a lesser degree? Both of them were AWFUL for awhile there.

Talamo is still pretty awful. Not Leparoux bad...but close

Speaking of awful...I hope Drayden Van Dyke has some sort of plan for the future. My god is he bad.

That was 'beyond brilliant'.. As good as he's been with late runners, he's always been terrific on the front end.

His ride was as good as Irad's was bad.

I'm not sure about the "that's one turf course where you can lose a little ground..." comment, as on any course you want options, but riding favorites like they are longshots is the equivalent of having no plan. Irad rides too many horses for Chad like they can't lose no matter what he does. He rode the horse extremely well last time and then completely abandoned that plan yesterday.

Not to sound like a broken record, but a picture perfect ride by Desormeaux in the 1st today. Saved ground, tipped out at just the right time and a strong finish got he and his mount up.

Impressive.

Ya I didn’t cover him in 5th today and ended up 5of 6 in that pick 6. Would have cost me $7.20 more. I quit

Desormeaux was arrested, booked and transported to the St. Martin Parish Jail on the above mentioned charge

Im thinking he's gonna get days for this...hope all is well with the person he attacked

Word on the street is that the victim is Shane Sellers' ex wife.
