ROI Results 1/2 @ Gulfstream + Santa Anita
 

2021 started out with some fireworks for one player and he surely didn't drop the ball as we ushered
in another year on the calender. While the contest went coast to coast all the winners came out of
Florida's Gulfstream Park as four winning tickets were cashed. Cruzan gets the points for 3rd place
with a win bet on Rijeka in the 6th worth $8.80 and a return of $110. Ruffian played the same horse
in the 6th but wagered $5 more and winds up with a return of $132 and second place. Both Cruzan
and Ruff must be disappointed as Rijeka was 12-1 in the morning line. The days big winner was
Cal828. Cal played race 7 and hit a nice paying trifecta and exacta thanks to Tiger finishing
second. Cal collected $23.85 for each 50 cent tri and $16.30 for each of his exacta bucks. On
the day Cal828 collected $401.50 and cruised to an easy win. Cal becomes our first repeat winner
this season and after 6 weeks our group is still collectively showing a profit with 5 players still
in positive ROI territory and still chasing Roamin. Following are the unofficial results pending a

But nice play in any event.

Seems more likely that we will see a formation of flying swine, than my chances or anyone else's of catching Roamin.:eek::D, but as the poet said, a man's reach should exceed his grasp.
