Post all of you picks for the Derby extras in this thread. As we usually do each year for the Derby. We made an exception for the Belmont only because in was the first Saturday in May.

Here are the extras for the CD Derby Contest Card:

Straight Tri - 15 bonus pts

Straight Ex - 10 bonus pts

Last place horse - 10 bonus pts

Lengths back of last place horse from the winner (closest guess) - 10 bonus pts

And don't forget our bank rolls are $200 and we get double pts for our selections.

We will also accept the Oaks-Derby double as one on your 4 wagers. THREADS FOR STANDARD POINTS PICKS AND ROI WAGERS TO FOLLOW.

Also, as has been done in the past, the winner of the Points Contest and the ROI contest will receive a KY Derby glass. The first KY Derby glasses for a race not run on the first Saturday in May!

As the recipient of the one last year, I can attest to it being way better than a "Major Award," (with apologies to A Christmas Story.) I aim to get this one this year too, but that is just idle "trash talk" considering how well some players are playing and my own pitiful play.:wf:D

Just my way of thanking our players for continuing to support our modest contests. You are all wonderful!

I've been able to land a couple of Plenilune hats but can't seem to crack the Derby glass prize I don't think, or maybe I have??? I honestly can't remember. I wear the hats but the Plen glasses are still in a unpacked box from our move last year. :eek:

I was fortunate enough to win one of the Derby glasses for KD 139 in 2013. I actually use it on occasion and have found that it makes beverages just seem to taste better. Not only that, but any time I need to confirm the year of a Derby winner, it is easy to look at the list on the glass.

My friend and I would go to the PA Derby race at Parx and they gave away free hats. So that was cool and she would give me hers so I could give them away. But we haven't been for quiet a while. I have a couple of other hats that I could give away as I am not a hat wearer. Will consider that, hmmm...
