Context is crucial. If you find the reference in the Denver Post or even the Boulder Daily Camera, it probably has nothing to do with optional claiming conditions. On the other hand, DRF and the Bloodhorse hopefully aren't spending time covering the representative from New York's 14th congressional district. I do understand your dilemma - my humor can get distorted also.

Best not be making these kinds of mistakes often ma'am. People will think your are losing it, but then again, I think you are leading our little contest, so if you are losing it, is that a sad commentary on the rest of us that are playing in the contest?:rolleyes::wf

Funny, I was reading some comments from Brit Hume of Fox news about VP Biden. Hume said that he knew that Biden was senile because, Hume said he himself suffered from the same affliction. Not trying to get a political discussion going as I know that is anathema, but I couldn't help thinking that I too must have the same affliction. I have difficulty remembering names or sometimes words. However, I also had the same difficulty most of my life and a large part of it I think I was on some sort of mental autopilot.

No ma'am you are wrong. There are two parts to our contest. I lead one and you lead the other which in my mind is the more important of the two, but I know everyone doesn't feel that way.
