Venue 3/21 Fair Grounds

My proposal for Saturday is the Fair Grounds featuring the Louisiana Derby. I personally would like to play races 5 to 13. The first four races are two maiden races and two state bred races. Any thoughts are appreciated. While racing is a welcome diversion things are topsy turvy in the real world. Hope everyone is coping.

That's an excellent choice RQ. I'm looking forward to losing myself in the pp's for a little while and just blocking out the noise from all of the rest of the world before coming back to reality. It should provide a useful catharsis.

Sounds good to me RQ assuming the races go on.:)

And or a tactical diversion.

RQ it is possible that I'm hallucinating. When I first looked at the entry list a couple of days ago, I recall seeing 13 races listed. Today's list only includes 12, ending with the Louisiana Derby as Race 12. A maiden race might have been deleted in the middle of the card. The same 12 race list appears at Equibase, DRF and the Fair Grounds website. Just wanted to mention this to you - with the size of all of the fields except the Oaks, an 8 race program will probably leave us with plenty to do.

Strange. I looked this morning and I thought there were 13 races. I did see a maiden race in the middle of the card and that's still there. If it's still ok lets do 5 to 12 but it's open for discussion until tomorrow morning.

In fairness we would be playing the four graded races and another open stakes race. I don't consider stakes races limited to Louisiana breds that important but we are including one.

Fair Grounds on Saturday we will be doing races 5 to 12.
