When the scratches were announced around 10:30 I thought they had decided to run since he had moved over by one stall. His scratch takes a huge amount of interest out of the race and completely changes my pace analysis

What in the world was Irad doing on Mucho Gusto? He was all over the track coming down the stretch.

Either a very tired horse or some race riding I would guess.
