I’m surprised to seen Green Light Go added to the list...but maybe he needed a race off the layoff. Not sure I like his chances but I’ll be rooting for him.

I guess they have to take a shot and see where he is this year. Not exactly coming up a super strong race, outside potentially of Dennis's Moment.

Chance it is not a bad horse and could improve here

Workouts are what they are, but Admire has been out working Dennis Moment, and Admire was horrible this weekend. I’ll definitely be looking to take a shot against DM at the odds he’ll be.

If Dennis didn’t grow, he’s vulnerable. If he filled out properly, the rest are running for second money. Some of these colts don’t grow much over the winter. It would be so awesome if they put them all on a see through scale where you could see their weight and also their feet from the camera under the scale .

I was thinking, compared to other Derby preps, this should be a pretty strong field.

And I don’t hate Shotski or Green Light Go (though not sure they are legit Derby horses).

I like Shotski in this race but not in the KD. He needs the front end and that doesn't usually work out well at 1.25.

Am I allowed to complain about small fields at Santa Anita while also complaining about the entry of seemingly uncompetitive horses in the Fountain of Youth?

It's a Gulfstream tradition.. typically reserved for Florida Derby.
