Perfect Drift fans

don't know if anyone has seen this yet, looks like he has to take some time off. Might explain his lackluster race on Saturday.

Probably the cause. Hope he's alright.

QUANROSS 11-07-2006 08:36 PM

It makes sense. I thought he didn't handle the quirky surface. a breathing problem is equally culprit.

well probaly a little extended rest for the big boy@his owners farm in kansas this year. if he returns next year its a pretty safe bet its in april and on the grass@keeneland

What's next....you're going to tell us you've uncovered definitive proof of the existance of Santa Claus?

I can't confirm Santa Clause...but for a small fee I will tell you what I know about the Easter Bunny.

I was wondering if there was something wrong. Not that I am taking anything away from Invasor because he ran an awesome race and I don't think anyone was going to catch him.

Maybe this is an excuse, maybe it is real, I don't know. But glad to see he is going to get some time off to play and be a horse again.

I already agreed to not "Drifty talk up" if he didn't run well. I will stick to that, but I am still going to root for him. :)

I find him impossible not to root for...like Hooves said he doesn't really win much but he always shows up...he runs hard, he's been at the top level for his whole career and he's made a ton of money. i admit i gave him no real chance in the race on Satuday but ya gotta love him.

But I really gave Concern no chance to win the Classic since he always finished in the money and never won, but I did have hope, which is what I had for Drifty.

I will always have a place in my heart for this gelding. He is the "NEW" John Henry in my book. He may not have won like JH did, but he does show up.

Well Buffy...

At least we don't have to hear about how he "hung" in the BCC. He didn't even come within seeing distance of Invasor! :D

Drifty deserves a nice rest. I hope he comes back strong as ever. :)
