Venue for Saturday 12/15
 

Gulfstream has 5 graded stakes on their 11 race card on Saturday. 2 are dirt routes(Harlan's Holiday and Rampart), 2 are Turf Routes(My Charmer and Fort Lauderdale) and one is a dirt Sprint(Sugar Swirl).

Is this ok or are there other, better venues?

Gulfstream sounds like a good plan to me!

Can't think of a better one for this Saturday.

I know that some of our guys are not all that crazy about rain and there is a
40% chance of rain at Gulf and Tampa and really just about everywhere except Louisiana tracks and Remington and Los Al, but fog is predicted for Los Al. Suggestions or comments welcomed.

Maybe 40% is not too bad. I know we decided against Del Mar some time ago when the forecast was 40% and I don't think it rained a drop, but that was California and we are talking about south Florida now.

The whispers I get is a storm front moving in about this afternoon and maybe a few lost showers left by Saturday morning. Probably have some wind left for me in Tampa. That will be coming up from the direction of south Mexico according to the multitude of news and weather stations I'm stuck with on this TV plan. Mother Nature is trying a right hook to my jaw. Oceanus counters with a left to the Everglades using Cuba as backup.

I'll be participating in the contests Saturday, but won't be able to watch all of the contest races. I have the joyous pleasure of getting to watch both of my Granddaughters dance in a production of the Nutcracker in the Dance of the Snowflakes.:)

I have a Drosselmeyer baseball cap courtesy of WinStar. Would it be appropriate for me to wear it to the performance and would anyone get the reference?
