Thanksgiving

So I got this turkey today. 20lbs. and $5 dollars and 26 cents. Frozen solid like it was dug out of the Antartic. Guy asks if I can defrost it by Thursday. Told him I could dig up Admiral Perry and defrost him by Thursday.

Going to buck the Byk trend and make mashed potatoes. I don't make them that much and they are a treat for me.

I think any thing good is fair game. Shrimp, Lobster, Crab. It's all good.

I'm going to do deviled eggs with Caviar on top. Might be nice with the nice caviar, but can't afford that. Think I'm buying some fish eggs, but are good.

If you have a few bucks, get some nice deviled eggs with a good caviar. Absolutely fabulous. Could add a few good thick bacon bits in, don't over-do it.

Tied a rope around the turkey and threw her into the pond. Drag her out Thursday morning.

Best wishes to all. Wish all a Happy Thanksgiving. I had some bad things and some good things happen to me this year. Try to ignore the bad and enjoy the good. The best and worst is horse racing. However, I never regret a losing day at the races, there is no such thing.

We are different. We are horse players.

i do remember back in the 1950's, my great grandfather would raise a turkey in his yard. He would chop his head off and hang his carcass out the attic window

We would have that for Thanksgiving. Freaking thing would run around with no head. Freaky. Disturbing.

They were nice people. Saw Man O' War run.
