Not sure I have a clear understanding of all this. I understand that if you had a big win when you are at the track, the amount that you have to report on has changed drastically for the better, but if you bet through an internet account, wouldn't Xpressbet, Twin Spires, etc. still send you a 1099 at the end of the year reflecting the aggregate of your wins/losses which would include winnings on Breeder's Cup or not?

I hit on a solid pick 3 a couple weeks ago on the NY showcase day at Belmont, cashed the ticket and couldn't believe I didn't have to sign, it was very very cool.

No, they only send you W2-G's for wagers that triggered reporting thresholds.
