13-3, make the Super Bowl, lose to the Pat's...

Bears are 1 and done in playoffs just like last year, and Grossman will probably be hurt by then just like every year.. although they do seem to cover every week good lord have you ever seen a pro team favorite by 16 and cover that in the first qrt.......but also I really don't see too many NFC teams going to Chi town and winning maybe this is the year the Bears win again Defense does win titles!!!! I just had to put that 1 and done in there for all my Chi town folks LOL

As a Vikes fan, I can tell you that before last night, we were under some delusion that if we somehow won that game against the Pats, that we would roll into Chi-town with 2 losses, and the division would still be up for grabs...

Well then last night happened. I think 14-2 and a Super Bowl is likely. There's only 1 team that can spil it now- The Giants. They've had their ups and downs so far this year, but if they're firing on all cylanders come playoff time, the Bears will have thier hands full. Otherwise, eventhough the Bears should be my nemesis- Showing that the NFC North isn't the worst division in football is kinda nice too hehe.

the scariest part for you is that the vikings (short of the cardinals mistake) were the closest anyone got to giving them a good run. and the bears are better now than they were at the beginning of the season.

so the end of the season matchup against the bears should be worrying you the most :) it's going to get ugly.

im alot more worried about the falcons and the panthers in the playoffs than i am the giants. i dont think manning will last past halftime against us coming up soon

the NFL is unlike alot of other sports, never, ever count your chickens before they hatch.

see Raiders vs Steelers

see Arizona vs Chicago couple weeks back

one game at a time

Well they did the stupid video, and still won the Super Bowl.

pmayjr 10-31-2006 04:20 PM

dude the NFC East has been overrated the whole year with the exception of the Giants. They Giants are the real deal Holyfield if mainlyt the players on the defensive side of the ball stayt healthy. Between Umenyora and Strahan Rex is gonna have a rough day too...

But all in the the Bears are the best team in the NFC. But the Patriots are the best team in the NFL.

I could care less who the best team in the NFL is in October, November or December

Division, then playoffs

Good point... the reason why I don't put much stock in the Colts, and think the Pats are the best team in football. As it stands right now it looks like Bears and Patriots (whether the Patriots have home-field advantage or not) in the Supa Bow...

no love for the blue. we got some cats out on defense, secondary etc.. be alright come january, gamers.

skippy3481 10-31-2006 06:21 PM

Colts should worry lots of people. So we can't stop the run. Denver gashed us for what ...250.. and they still lost... at home. And they have one of the better defenses. You have to believe that once everyone gets healthy they should be able to cut that down. We are never going to be solid against the run. We have small quick lineman(excluding booger). But our pass defense is very strong. Our whole gameplan is is predicated on getting up early and forcing the other team to abandon the run. So far it has not happened much this year, and yet we are still winning.

pmayjr 11-02-2006 06:09 AM

It's not about their Run D or Pass D or lack thereof or an explosive offense. It's just the fact that they don't get it done... you know... in January... where they choke every year. I'm actually rooting for Peyton and Dungy to geth that giant Gorilla off their backs and win the Super Bowl. But until they do- I gotta pick the Pats.
