Toga 4th Wednesday

Thought this was an interesting discussion race. I like the 3-5 pick 3 because i think you can get clever in the 3rd and 5th. As for the 4th do we single the 2 or 4? I prefer the 2, but I feel like everyone will. The 4 seems to have a tactical edge in a paceless race. What's everyone think?

The 6 is going to get the lead, question is if he is good enough to wire this field, which is competitive. Hard for me to dismiss him.

I actually think between the 2, 4 and 5 I prefer the 5 who may be the one right off the 6 with an aggressive ride.

While Emancipations last was much better than his mdn, and he has the look of a good horse he faces a better field at a likely very short price. Its a tough call with the 4 who will also likely be over bet.

I would be spreading for sure in this race. If I was getting a price of 4 or 5 to one on the 5 I will be making a win bet.

If the track comes up muddy, everything changes.
I see two contenders in this one.
Emancipation for Shug: He looks like a two turn,9-10 furlong type.
He's leggy, travels nicely.........and eats up ground once he gets moving.
His first two races(one turn-7/8 furlongs) were not in his wheelhouse.......the fourth on Wednesday is.
Really bright future for Emancipation.
Blame Us All: Don't be fooled by the state he was bred in,he's a 700k Blame purchase.
His Penn National state bred was a giggle,it was that easy.
He came back @ the X and ran behind T R Crew, but I don't think he liked that track(he didn't move over it well).........plus T R Crew really likes that surface.
I think at Saratoga the tables turn on the Crew.
I don't like a couple things about Fayeq: he benefited plenty from Winning Element knocking around four other horses out of the gate in his most recent.
I also don't like the way Fayeq stays so hard on his right in the stretch,if he doesn't correct to the switch it's going to cost him.
The Rudy horse looks like what you see on paper,a minor sort.
Battle Midway.......doing a rain dance.

I always spread in Maiden races on the multi's...........if you have a good angle,I'll throw her on the ticket.
The only one I have so far is the AC Avilla runner.

When Kieran gets this hot you need to use all his horses.

Yea, sure was. PT win and all but he has some talent.

As I suspected Emancipation just is going to be an average horse if he doesnt get faster.

My horse the 5 ran ok but really is just a cut below the 4.

I dont know if I can stomach betting these 5.5 turf race with full fields...feels a bit like dog racing.
