Well if the late pick 5 for NYRA Bets members only is a trial (based on timing), you would think or hope that this is a trial for some sort of Saratoga Del Mar crossover.

Small difference, but what's the takeout? Belmont - 24% or LosAl - 23.68%

About $16 per $500 if I did that right

That takeout is excessive no matter how you slice it. wouldnt 20 be more reasonable ?

Would also recommend they pick races that are close together in post time. They picked the best races, which was fine and I certainly played it regardless of the gap, but most people's attention span is low so you tell them there's a power hour of a pick 4 and they're going to get involved. There used to be one on Wood/Bluegrass day that was fantastic.

I think the key is the bet is over in 30 minutes..
