Santa Anita on Saturday gave up 3 winning wagers and 2 players who got more than the
initial wager back. One player got a lot more. Joly B cashed a ticket but it was't enough
to break even. Plenilune gets second place with a $50 win bet on Honor and Courage in
Race 4. A fitting name for Memorial Day weekend and $165 in Plenilune's virtual
voucher. The big winner at Santa Anita was Indian Hemp. IH had $50 to win and place
on Cupid in the Hollywood Gold Cup and the double digit mutuel returned IH $605 big
ones in a runaway gallop to the winners circle. Rumors have it that Indian Hemp "cut
his teeth" (our resident "splainer" will surely "splain it") on Penn National and if we indeed
play there next Saturday will be a force to be reckoned with. My best memory of Penn
National was the now defunct World Series of Handicapping. Following are the unofficial
results pending a foot fault on the scorer. See you all next week wherever Joly and Ruff
