When will the track dry out?

By what race at Pimlico will the track conditions be upgraded?

Difficult to say but without any sunshine or wind we might get a muddy track for the Preakness.

Forget the track. What is truly an EMBARRASSMENT is the city the built on the infield. How can you see anything?

What a joke, This race was supposed to be about horse racing, not a drinking fest for amateurs.

not sure I have seen many infield goers care much about watching the racing...maybe thats me but unless you have a seat in bleacher than not sure what the expectation is to see the race.

exactly my point...it keeps getting packed with more **** every year. Even the TV broadcast has blind spots. Have to wonder why Pimlico encourages this mess? i guess it won't change until some drunk ass hole jumps on to the track during the race.

a drunk jumped on the track about 15 years ago....it changed nothing. Nor should it really, its a giant party on these days, with racing, I have no idea how this is a bad thing.

Track now listed as Good

Alabama Stakes 05-20-2017 02:43 PM

Outside closers should be right guys. Always Dreaming has problems with this track now. I wish multiplier was posted outside, as he looks like he has plenty of run in him

Really? I guess I wasn't invited. Oh well. Here is a picture of Belmont Park on Belmont Stakes day 2015. ... that is what the infield should look like on Stakes day. Not covered with tents, booze, concert stages, kiddie rides, barbecues and so called racing fans who could care a less about the outcome of the race.

And who are you to say? Ever been to Ascot? Of course they've not a clue.

and I would bet there are 40-70k more fans at the Preakness and the Derby...maybe 100k more than the silly ascot example.

The Preakness and especially the Derby are a huge party that transcend a horse race...I would not same the same about the Belmont. Its a great race but unless there is a triple crown going on it feels very much like another big race.
