Tiger Woods Has 4th Back Surgery

If he ever makes it back, it won't be for at least another 15 months or so.

Makes it back?? Lmao

Who are you waiting for next to regain his dominance? Mike Tyson?

Funny you mentioned that because my thoughts this morning were who did we wait and expect to return to prior dominance FAR FAR beyond the reality of the situation and Mike Tyson was who I landed on. Even a healthy Tiger would be approaching an age where prior dominance would be improbable.

Regain his dominance? Who said anything about regaining his dominance? I was saying that if he ever plays again in another PGA Tour tournament, it won't be for at least 15 months.

Do you want me to travel back to the MULTIPLE Tiger Woods threads you've started where you said that he will come back and how he'll STILL break the Majors record??

Because I can.

It was a loopy opinion then, and would be an absolutely INSANE opinion if you still feel that way. It was only 2-3 years ago, so who knows if you've woken up since then or not.

I do enjoy your posts though, Pupkin, and wouldn't mind discussing golf as nauseum with you ( or whoever would like to talk about one of the the best sports ever invented ).

When he was making one of his comebacks a year or two ago, I thought he had a good chance to be a top player again, assuming he could stay healthy physically. But that was a while ago. He has had 2 more surgeries since then. At this point there is probably only a 50/50 chance as to whether he will ever play in another tournament again.

Regardless of his back, He lost it all over some porn stars and hookers on that fateful day when Elin blasted him with a 5 iron. That was his demise as a player and a person.

But good for him! If you are going to lose everything it might as well be over some sweet ass!

There is always hope Mr. Frodo :D

DUI

Tiger racked up a drunk driving charge over the weekend. It is beyond me how anyone with that kind of money would ever drive anywhere. Certainly hiring a driver or limo has got to be one of the great perks of being rich.

exactly...plus, he looks terrible in his mugshot, not that anybody does look good in a mugshot

That was incredible. When he took the outright lead I thought that maybe he was going to win. It was probably a mistake for him to try to hit that flop shot. That was a costly double-bogey.

Anyway, with all the surgeries he's gone through, it 's pretty amazing to see him leading majors on Sunday. The way he's playing right now, if he can stay healthy he should have have a good chance to win another major.

An argument can definitely be made that he’s playing as consistently well as anyone on tour. Some might say better than everyone.
