RIP J. Geils

Rock star J .Geils of the mighty J Geils band has passed away. Long overdue for hall of fame induction. Always gave the crowd their money's worth live. Love Stinks was a masterpiece in everyone's album collection back then. Loved the deep track Takin you down.

Love Stinks is a "classic" album! :tro: saw them in '82 @ SPAC during their Freeze Frame tour & in 2014 opening for Bob Seger in Albany NY, great band and great lead guitar player ...... R.I.P. :(

That 2014 tour was great. Boston garden was jammed as j Geils band had big following still in these parts from past glory. The show was through the roof. I have never seen the graybeards with such vim and vigor. You could see that both the Geils Band and Bob Seger were genuinely touched by the crowd and played according. Good times.

" Centerfold" is an 80's classic, absolutely belong in the HOF shame the old boy passed without it happening. :(
