SAT - Gulfstream Park (Fountain of Youth Day)

Gulfstream Park - Expecting high winds (25mph) for a fantastic Fountain of Youth card that features 8 graded stakes races. I'm looking forward to spending the afternoon at Gulfstream. Good racing luck to all.

POST SCRATCHES - FAST / FIRM

R1 - OC 75k/N1X

#1 Always Dreaming (1-1) - Anything close to what he's done and we'll probably see him in the Florida Derby next.

#9 Unbridled Holiday (8-1)
#3 Fire for Effect (10-1)

R2 - MSW 46k (Turf 7.5F)

#5 Donwell (12-1)
#3 Borsa Vento (7-2)

R4 - G3 Herecomesthebride (Turf 8.5F)

#4 Coasted (9-5) - Most accomplished of the group and is working well for '17 bow.
#1 Dream Dancing (9-2) - Fits Leparoux's style like a glove. Saves ground early and tips out for a big late run.
#3 India Mantuana (7-2) - Lands in Brown's barn and J Ortiz will have her forwardly placed throughout.
#2 Sweeping Paddy (6-1) - Beaten favorite in return and should be much tighter for this.

R5 - G3 Fred Hooper

#8 Greenspointcrusader (2-1) - Strong return and he's always showed promise. Draws well for his stalking style.
#4 Bird Song (9-2) - Might find himself in the lead early and is more than capable to getting brave on the front end.
#3 Realm (5-1) - Hard knocker seems to always bring it.
#5 Tale of S'avall (12-1) - Saves ground and makes a late move for a minor slice.

PK5 - 1 / 3 4 9 / 1 3 4 5 6 8 9 / 1 3 4 / 4 8 = $63 for $.50

PK4 - 3 4 9 / 1 3 4 5 6 8 9 / 1 3 4 / 4 8 = $63 for $.50

R6 - Sand Springs 100k (Turf 8F)

#5 Catch a Glimpse (7-5) - Top two really stand out here with their back class, but I'll lean here on the front end.
#8 Celestine (9-5) - Classy mare makes 1st start for the Clement barn, which should have her ready to go off the bench.
#1 Ice Festival (20-1) - Finished the year well in Canada and has run well here.
#3 Lori's Store (10-1) - Has had success on this course.

R7 - G3 The Very One (Turf 9.5)

#3 Suffused (GB) (8-5) - Looms large as she seems to always be within perfect striking distance late.
#1 Olorda (Ger) (5-2) - Was really in top form last year until her year stopped in April. In good hands and a strong return is expected.
#6 Paige (15-1) - She'll be doing her best running late to catch a minor award.
##4 Earring (8-1) - Proctor was dangerous on the lawn.

R8 - MSW 46k

#11 Timeline (5-1) - Well meant and well bred for debut. Sharp works
#5 Giuseppe the Great (7-2) - One of three with a race under their belt in a field of 13. A slight improvement and it's picture time.
#8 Texican (10-1) - Beautifully bred colt shows a long string of solid work for Brown.
#1 Caviar Czar (Ire) (4-1) - Not crazy about the inside draw in debut at 7 panels, but it obviously in the mix with top connections.

R9 - G3 Palm Beach (Turf 8.5F)

#5 Snap Decision (8-1) - Maiden breaker last month was visually impressive and the step up seems well within reach.
#9 Ticonderoga (7-2) - Seems to find trouble, but expect his best strides late.
#6 Channel Maker (9-2) - Showed some serious promise at 2 and needs to be taken serious here.
#1 Cowboy Culture (3-1) - Ships in after taking care of business in the Big Easy. Draws well.

PK4 - 5 8 / 1 3 / 1 2 3 4 5 6 / 1 5 8 11 13 = $60 for $.50

R10 - G2 Davona Dale

#5 Yes I'll Go (12-1) - If she runs anything close to her only race on a dry dirt track (90BSF). Watch out.
#12 Pretty City Dancer (7-2) - Will probably be a bit sharper today in 2nd start off the break. Tactical runner.
#8 Saratoga Citizen (30-1) - Woke up on return to the dirt and they better pay attention to her on the front end.
#7 Miss Sky Warrior (5-2) - Multiple graded winner is the most accomplished runner, but might need one.

R11 - G3 Canadian Turf (Turf 8F)

#3 Heart to Heart (2-1) - No secret what the game plan will be, but this time the field is not as deep. Dangerous
#2 Projected (GB) (3-1) - Euro makes U.S. for Chad Brown who thrives with these types.
#6 Giant Run (10-1) - Loves this course and will benefit if anyone can put some kind of pressure on top choice.
#7 Dragon Bay (10-1) - Comes in fresh and should be toward the 1st flight throughout the race.

R12 - G2 Mac Diarmida (Turf 11F)

#6 Mr Maybe (10-1) - BEST BET- I'll excuse his G2 McKnight effort after having no where to go and I'll get triple the price because his stablemate will get plenty of attention at the windows.
#4 Wake Forest (Ger) (3-1) - G1 winner comes back and there's a slight concern that the focus will be on Grade 1s later in the spring.
#7 Bigger Picture (4-1) - Barn has plenty of long distance turf runners and this one is near the top of the list.
#3 Reporting Star (20-1) - Old pro still has something left in the tank.

R13 - G2 Fountain of Youth

#9 Made You Look (10-1) - Makes dirt debut after 6 races on the Turf, but has been working lights out and the pedigree says Yes. He looks to get a nice pace in front of him and he's shown an electric turn of foot.
#8 Irish War Cry (5-2) - Has been super impressive in all 3 career starts and seems to be getting better which is a scary proposition for his rivals. Must deal with some real speed here and rate off it.
#6 Practical Joke (3-1) - Only Grade 1 winner in the field (twice) might actually get overlooked at the windows. Nothing wrong with the works coming in and the Joke might be on all who ignore him.
#2 Gunnevera (7-2) - Brings in a ton of experience and comes off a strong effort against the grain. Would benefit from a pace meltdown.

Rainbow 6 - 1 5 8 11 13 / 1 5 6 9 / 5 12 / 3 / 3 4 6 7 / 8 9 = $64 for $.20

PK5 - 1 4 5 6 7 9 / 3 5 7 8 9 12 / 3 / 4 6 / 8 9 = $72 for $.50

PK4 - 3 5 7 8 9 12 / 2 3 / 3 4 6 7 / 6 8 9 = $48 for $.50

Good Racing Luck
