It's a tough start to the year for the hen, the biggest Baffert lover ever.

Like Sherman could poasibly move him up

Wonder why the split, Baffert did give him Bayern, he has spent the money. Maybe he was a bit irked that Zayat was the one with the better horses

Well when someone says I am not only ending my business relationship but my personal relationship then you would have to imagine its a little more the performance or how a horse is being trained.

Sherman will prob give him some more TLC but looks to me that horse peaked early as a3 year old??

Baffert buys high priced yearlings for Juddmonte, Zayat, Shah - how do they decided who gets what horses? That seems prickly.....and could be a problem.

Not sure about that. His comeback was strong. He stretched Chrome every step. I think Chrome was a little better and kinda broke his heart.
Taking nothing away from Sherman but how can he possibly improve the horse? Who knows? The division out there is soft if Chrome really retires and you figure Arrogate could come East for some big spots.

Arrogate will for sure be on the shelf for a spell post-Pegasus (if he actually runs) leaving the Big Cap a legit opportunity for Dortmund to pilfer another G1. While Midnight Storm is a neat little racehorse, I'm dubious he is Grade 1 calibre on dirt at this stage of his career and yet he would appear to be the main competition out West.

Heck, Songbird could point to the Big Cap. Ain't nothing in there tougher to beat than Beholder...except maybe Dortmund ;).

Being by Big Brown, I wonder if the possibility at a turf run for Dortmund is on the table. His good tactical speed would be a solid weapon especially going 10F+ vs Ashelylovessugar and his ilk.

I know Mor Spirit ran in the Malibu but what's his next move or like plans for Danzig Candy and Collected? Gun Runner might be perfect for Big Cap consideration if he ever escapes NOLA.

My head is spinning.

Arrogate scratches himself from Pegasus. Then proceeds to shake hoof at cloud.
