Royal Delta 2.0

Check out Mott's race 4 winner today to Aqueduct. Her name is Elate and she's a monster.

Looking like she's going to be exactly that.

Dutrows 2yr old is the goods as well. 3 super impressive races to start his career.

Rupert Pupkin 11-28-2016 06:14 AM

I agree that Elate was very impressive. But I thought there was an an even more impressive 2 year old filly than her this weekend. I don't know if you saw Unique Bella on Saturday at Del Mar. I think she is the best 2 year old filly in the country right now.

RHT2004 11-28-2016 06:26 AM

Ill take Elate over the Hollendorfer filly who was allowed to set a controlled pace all alone when Oneils 🐎 didn't break. Plus she already had a race.

Did you see Unique Bella today? She won the Grade II Santa Ynez today by about 8 lengths and she was never asked. There is no telling how good she is.

She's really good.......
UB doesn't even look like she wants to sprint, she's built like a router.
She did it shutdown in a canter yesterday....... in race horse time of 1:22.1.
UB looks like your Kentucky Oaks favorite now.

I agree. She's bred to go long. She's by Tapit and her dam is Unrivalled Belle, who won the Breeders Cup Distaff.

I think the sky is the limit for this filly.

If you want to go off the BSF,that's fine........nothing wrong with that.
But she made two really nice fillies look slow yesterday{It Tiz Well/Shane's Girlfriend}.......and she did it laughing at them.
Remember Mr. 2004,I'm projecting a bit in my evaluation.......I'm looking at a Filly who's built/bred to route, and covers ground ever so easily.
Factor in her stopping the timer and the way she did it........and Voila, the next big thing.
She really passes the eye test::eek:
Note:Turn the volume down in her DMR replay.........trust me.

The problem is that Elate doesn't appear to be training at the moment. No workouts since mid-November (before her debut).

She was doomed almost immediately.

The speed figure is totally meaningless in this case. She was never asked. She could have won by at least another 3-4 lengths. In addition, she was 4-wide. You can add at least 8-10 points to her speed figure.

On the bright side, Close Hatches full sister Lockdown is training steadily and is nominated to this weekend's Busanda.

Ill never buy stuff like this. Arrogate was never asked much before the Travers and was breezing w/ 99 and 104's.
This horse is bound to be grossly over bet because of the blowout win and the Songbird factor.

She should jog. NY route to the Oaks. Pretty sure Close Hatches did that also.

Close Hatches was buried in the Oaks by Princess of Sylmar and Beholder.

I said ny route to Oaks. I know where she finished. But since you brought it up.....

Remember this was the big race at the time. They all showed up and Closed Hatches beat them both on the square.
