So you're leading in the polls...

....have little chance of losing to Lynn Swann, so what do you do? Pi$$ of a whole demographic.

Man I hate politics, ladies and gentlemen, my governer Ed Rendell:

Explaining his views on slot-machine gambling and senior citizens, he said, "These are people who lead very gray lives. They don't see their sons and daughters very much. They don't have much social interaction.

"But if you put them on the bus, they're excited," the Democratic governor told The Lancaster New Era's editorial board. "They're happy. They have fun. They see the bright lights. They hear music. They pull that slot machine, and with each pull they think they have a chance to win. It's unbelievable what brightness and cheer it brings to older Pennsylvanians. Unbelievable."

Dustin, tell me about it. I work for the Commonwealth of PA, so technically Rendell is probably my boss ... unfortunately the polls show that Swann has no chance.

you guys aren't alone, I think everyone outside of Philly wants Rendell gone. It's not a coincidence that there hasn't been a mayor of Philly elected to the office since 1911.
