Sorry for stupid question, but in my 30 years of playing I have never had this happen? Do I get a consolation payoff for the 1 if the 2n leg of the DD hits? And how about the P5 assume I got the favorite in the race with the late scratch, and non wagering #1?:confused:

Any help much appreciated..Think I'm gonna get screwed here!

If im correct, the double gets refunded and unfortunately you are out of the pick 5.

If the 5,7,11 win its just I don't know. And I believe one of them win.

So in the third race the 1a is a gate scratch. He's out worked the winner every time and the winner just whistled. They paid 15k combined for both of them nod they are sitting there at 5-1..... And the owners , who figured to make a touchdown at the Windows get nothin but the purse . :zz:

I don't suppose they were killing it too bad as 5-1 would seem to tell otherwise. But anyone carrying the 1 took it up the arse

Hosses that went that cheaply are generally in the 15-1 range if not higher at Saratoga

But on the flip side, if there's an entry, say one of them is a standout and you single a multi to that horse and he scratches, do you really want to be singled to the s.hitty part of the entry? That's not fair either. It's an unfortunate part of the game and I think the only way to fix that is to get rid of entries.

Rudy bet down to 5-1 in early action. His other a few races back was halved as well and think went off at 2-1 ran 4th..Not sure when folks will realize he and a select few others do not have it at the spaaaaaaa....
