random drug test to the trainer?

Does the suspension extend to Woodbine? He's got a couple of my 2yo fillies up there.
Thanks, O |
Seems to just be NYRA...
Wonder who he pissed off. |

That is crazy. Testing for weed?! Smh

Lynch has since switched to edibles.
I've truly seen it all in my 12 years as a fan of the sport! |
Somebody must have been out to get him.

I'll put my faith in the Canadian sense of perspective on these things. No one partied harder than Rob Ford and he kept getting elected mayor of Toronto. O |
Well good luck either way. I'm no fan of weed but this is a joke.

Best, O |
What should have sensible people in an uproar is the fact that Lynch can't participate this weekend but a jockey who is a habitual offender can.
Makes sense, eh? |

While it's stupid to test trainers for weed what is the real disgrace is the NYSGC acting like they have uncovered some sinister plot that requires the trainer to immediately be disqualified from participating. While I'm sure there is a rule that allows them to do this, the tone deaf nature of this decision on the same day that Ohio became the 25th state to legalize it's use in some form is telling.
