Jorge Navarro
Is obviously the world's greatest living trainer.
I would hope those two winners today get throughly tested. |

If an owner was smart, and they had some lonshot horse that sneaks in the KD like Trojan Nation or something, they would send the horse to Navarro right after the last prep, then CRUSH the horse at the windows on Derby day.

Jorge Navarro is to Doug Oneil as Rudy Rodriguez is to Richard Dutrow.

There is no logical way that horse should have been able to survive a speed duel going 44 3/5 while 5 wide and then draw off while holding off grade 1 closers like Calculator, Salutos Amigos, and Kobe's Back. |
the derby has changed. we need the sprinters back in the race. point system sucks.

Mr. Navarro numbers....
As long shots it's not that surprising they came in. Shenanigans? Maybe.... Both entries won their last 2 starts. Both had good works heading into the races and maybe better than there odds indicated. so if they were given a boost somehow they surely would be better. a rule maybe should be when you see a Navarro horse, hit the all button just in case. st w p s earn 2016 169 53 33 18 $1,992,106 2015 436 112 68 55 $3,837,692 2014 413 114 78 58 $2,281,140 2016 looks like his best year so far. where they all juiced? couldn't find any violations in KY but he has a sketchy past. http://khrc.ky.gov/Pages/rulings.aspx such as...One day after Jorge Navarro took the trainer’s title at Monmouth Park in New Jersey, he began serving a 60-day suspension under a consent order he reached with Florida regulators over six positives for the painkiller flunixin during the 2011-12 meet at Tampa Bay Downs. http://www.paulickreport.com/news/ra...rmitted-level/ well check that link in a few days and see if his name pops up. |

The lack of races for most of the field sucks too. The layoff for Destin was ridiculous. These owners are owned by statisticians. Makes for boring big days. |
Being from Jersey I have seen his runners a lot and heard a lot of the rumors. I don't know what is true or not but his horses do win a lot.....but are usually at very low odds and you learn to factor him in. Both those horses outran expectations but usable and knowing Navarro I used both in secondary P3 wagers that came through nicely...I am certain I have lost many wagers when games were played.

The workout reports touted both horses.

Mad I didnt use those in 2 in multi's.. You have to adjust as a player and if navarro is in field with a reasonable horse you simply have to use him on your tickets.
IF he is juicing then "they" need to catch him until then he is a must use with anything that looks close to formidable |
