Wonder about his replacement, Beer ? |

 This line struck me:
Until today, that was the harshest lesson I had experienced about some things simply being out of your control I've met Dave a few times over many years and like him. He is right that he comes from a different time when public handicappers sold papers. There was no Equibase, internet and few patrons bought a form (too expensive). They bought the NY Post or Daily News or tip sheets at the track. The win % was a selling point and ROI was rarely, if ever, mentioned. Good Luck to Dave and hope he stays in the business. |

 Yea....interesting comments.
The comments about picks and exotics are telling. I dont think he is any great hanidcapper but 30 years is a looong time. |

 All Dave , all night

Mass producing winners? ...... With plenty of 3-5 hot and dirties mixed in. He was real chalky as a capper to me. Not really even in Byks league. ( no one is) Sounds miffed for sure. I guess 28-1 wasn't enough to just bet to win and place ????

 Dave Litfin
@DaveLitfin Fairly well-known Thoroughbred handicapper/author, formerly for Daily Racing Form, who recently learned what management means by restructuring & streamlining. https://twitter.com/DaveLitfin |

Think their is only (2) left in Canada.
	If they're streamlining, they'll be next |
