the "carryover" is only used if there is only 1 winning ticket. If it is hit by several tickets only the pool for the day applies to the paout.

is that correct?

ALBANY, CALIF. – The Golden Pick 6 returned $5,387.16 to 13 winning tickets Friday at Golden Gate Fields.

The jackpot – which is paid only when there is a single ticket with all six winners – will begin at $1,167,843.12 when racing continues Saturday. The Golden Pick 6 sequence will begin with race 4, which is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. There also is a Super High 5 carryover of $3,415.80.

No unique ticket won on Saturday, mandatory payout on Sunday! Pool starts with $1,408,071, plus I'm guessing another $4 million tomorrow. Good luck!
