safe travels everyone in s.e. usa

bad weather down here, with six dead so far in the southeast, mostly mississippi.
hope anyone travelling gets there and back safe!
we're leaving here christmas day, heading to the outer banks of n.c. for a few days before backtracking to my folks further inland, and a caps game new years eve, and then back home.
hope everyone has a safe and merry christmas.

Safe travels, Danzig!

My brother and family are driving up from Tennessee. They hoped to go straight through, but they had to stop in Virginia because, after getting through storms and rain, the fog got too bad.

In Arkansas, you never know what to expect. Night before last was sleeping in my skivvies and still kicking cover off because it was so hot. Last night had to get up and put PJs on because I was freezing. Very pleasant today and probably will be for the next few days, but as soon as we get complacent about it and expect nice weather you can be sure the Siberian Express will be on its way. Probably hit on opening day at Oaklawn like it has so many times before.
