A 3-year-old filly named Ruby Queen had never won a race until she appeared to blow past the field as a 110-1 longshot at an Ohio horse track.

But it turns out that she was really a he.

doesn't somebody check the under carriage before they get out on the track?

Was telling a fellow horse person about this a few days ago. They agreed with me that it was crazy that not one person realized the horse was a he. Jocks, grooms, trainers, bettors stewards, outriders, gate crew......no one caught it. Crazy
