Everytime he runs...I love him more and more ! Hall of Fame ride by Mike Smith - but even if he gave him a bad ride I think he would have won.


He is a special horse......

Not sure what was Hall of Fame about that ride? He took a horse that was 5 lengths the best, made sure he was clear basically all the way around, and won by a couple lengths. Smith is a HOFer because he keeps horses out of trouble, but sometimes at any cost. Many times that's exactly what a horse needs though, and he's definitely a move-up jockey for those horses.

The Pizza Man is a very good horse though...hard not to appreciate.
