Polytrack?

Just want to bring this topic up a few more times.
Anyone want to talk about polytrack some more?
Not that I don't think there are enough threads about it...but I just wanted to start one too.

Hey Steve...can we start a poly room?

Hey Steve...can we start a poly room?

Maybe a truce instead.
If the shills will stop talking about it as the savior of all racing, the bashers agree to not to bash it on here.
We need Jimmy Carter to negotiate this treaty.

poly is the future...i think Spitzer should request new bids for the nyra franchise requiring poly installation at the 3 nyra tracks plus training tracks in Spa and Belmont.

Has Carter negotiated a truce that actually stuck?

I solemnly promise, in all seriousness, and give my word that I will not write another word about it on this thread unless provoked by a shill who spouts nonsensical rose colored bull**** about it. Starting immediately. Promise.

he'd end up giving the chat room to panama...steve pays for it, builds it...now give it away.

it would be nice if everyone would stick to one thread on a topic, rather than starting many different ones on the same thing.

See this bull****? My silence lasted as long as it took me to write that post and then read this one. This has to be a record.

Steve, you go to heaven for making this room. This is the last post in the Poly room you will ever see me make.

chromer 10-19-2006 06:27 PM

What do Polytrack, Xerox, and Coke all have in common?

They're brand names that are used as if they weren't.

It's an artificial dirt surface. Unless you are talking specifically about the brand they use at Keenland and Turfway.

Polytrack wasn't even the first.

Now get me a soda and finish the copying.

Thanks Steve!
This is hillarious!
For the enquiring minds...
mine are 50%/50% poly and cotton. Had to look at the label.
I don't think Jimmy Carter is hiding in 'em, but I don't take a look too often.
Now, about the brown in the crotch....I'm looking for tips from Mike.
To me, it looks like "dirt"...but it doesn't smell like it.
Jimmy C never complained.
Anyway...should it be hot, cold, gentle...?
Shucks, now I have to go to "esoteric" for laundry advice.
