Way its supposed to? So you think that a statistical abberation like none I've ever seen in my life involving speed horse unable to wire over a 100 race sample was just a fluke? Man, some people can't see whats in front of them.

Sure I can, if you didn't suffer from ADD you would have noticed that in my previous post I said I handicapped for the closers.

BTW, a 100 race sample really isn't much when you are considering a new racing surface. Eventually they will tweak it and get it to play more evenly.

I was being sarcastic to your sarcasm.
I guess that went unappreciated.
I got your point and intent just fine. Its just that sarcasm doesnt always play out well on here.

AHHH, sarcasm never seems to work on message boards.... everyone is thin skinned and an expert in just about everything.

You obviously got it.
The sarcasm was intended for those who actually would get worked up enough to say "SEE!! Speed is just fine there!!"
And no doubt someone will appear here later who will argue just that.
It was sarcasm aimed at those who will argue a point about a situation by attempting to use the "outlier" or "abberational result" to try and prove a point rather than focusing on the overwhelming body of data.
I guess the topic of the thread alone proves that though.
Can you imagine anyone posting that "belmont has a wire job today!!!" or "Santa anita has a wire job today!!!" and being serious? Thats the irony.

I'm only an expert in one thing, dawlin'... and that doesn't apply to this message board. :D

hey pba, I think I know who you are. Perhaps you can give me a few online bowling lessons, im having some kind of mental block.

MISTERGEE 10-18-2006 04:03 PM

Speed Still

Noticed On Saturday Towards The Front Speed Was Doing Ok At Keeneland, Could It Be Starting To Turn Around ? By The Way Is There The Same Bias At Woodbine?

oracle80 10-18-2006 04:08 PM

Not sure Mistergee, I do know that in the Keeneland race that started this thread, a "perfectly logical:rolleyes: " 107 dollar horse won the race over Dreams. This stuff is absolutely hysterical, and I'm very glad I'm not playing any races on it.
