He went down hard today in the 5th. If anyone hears anything , please post here. I hope he is okay.

@DRFWelsch: Preliminary reports on Rajiv Maragh is that he's conscious but complaining of neck and back pain, taken directly to North Shore Hospital.

Crap. Raj can't get a break. Do hope he heals and there is plenty of time to ride. He just turned 30 the other day. Don't come back until you're healthy

Wow, that's awful news. Feel bad. Hopefully he heals up sound and fast.

Shows how very dangerous this really is. We watch it so much I think we sometimes take it for granted but things can go very quickly wrong.

All thoughts with Raj a speedy recovery.

And what about Diego Saenz? Fell/shaken off during a race at EVD, appeared to be run over by trailing horses. Scary stuff. :(

Hope both riders are soon put to rights.

Was great to hear Raj today and glad he is riding again. Knew it was bad, but never knew how bad until today. Will be seeing a miracle on Friday. Plus, a bunch of hard work and the determination to never give up. Good luck, Raj. Will be rooting for you.
