Well that blows.. Wonder where he will point to now? Personally, I think he's looked like crap since he's been over there and looked a lot better when Art had him.

Hopefully still on for the Arlington Million

Looks good in that photo, but most of the others he looks a bit thinner than he was here.

Call it karma.

The right front foot arguably cost him the Triple Crown and now the right front foot arguably will spare him the humiliation of getting pummeled at Royal Ascot.

How quickly the older horse division has been decimated when it seemed that there was some fresh blood given the result of the BC Classic last year.

3yos took the first 6 spots in the race (obviously aided by a profoundly weak older horse contingent). Where are they now?

Bayern- missed the winter races and should have missed the spring races, too, apparently.

Toast of New York- likely toast with a tendon injury.

California Chrome- a colt that once won 6 races in a row is suddenly the most mismanaged racehorse on the planet.

Shared Belief- ducked no one, but was sent after a big cash prize rather than prestige and now is out indefinitely.

Tonalist- hopefully going to be more Lemon Drop Kid than Palace Malice later this year.

Candy Boy- sent to the Persian Gulf.

If Stronach had just ponied up some bonus money tied to the now defunct Strub Series and Big Cap to counteract the appeal of Dubai, we might have had the great winter hinted at by the San Antonio Invitational.

I thought he was going to run well there. I hope they still
run on turf next

Yes, running on a horse's least preferred surface is always a clever move.

If Animal Kingdom couldn't do it, there is zero chance CC was gonna do it. This is actually perfect because he'll take a ton of $$ on the Arlington Million against serious turfers...or at least turf horses with a reasonable amount of class that are turf-only animals.
