Pierce on Pharoah

My favorite political writer, Charles Pierce, writes a gorgeous ode to Pharoah's victory.

I'm now very bummed not to have known Pierce was at the Belmont. I would have totally stalked him and then babbled incoherently if I'd gotten within speaking distance.

Charlie Pierce is terrific and I too wish I'd been aware of his attendance Saturday. Will try to grab him for a radio appearance.

Excellent article except for:

Had American Pharoah not won, the two of them could have argued for years which one of them was the Buffalo Bills and which one was the Minnesota Vikings of the track.

As a Viking fan, I'm deeply offended...........:D

Used to see Charlie at Suffolk . Does he still look like a rainy day at the beach?
