Behaving Badly will enter the breeding shed in the spring, and Baffert offered a thought regarding the choice of stallion.


"She went to Hill 'N' Dale Farm this morning. I don't know who she's going to be bred to, but I'm assuming it would be Vindication," the horseman surmised. "That would be good, wouldn't it?"

Baffert trained Vindication, the unbeaten champion juvenile of 2002, who stands at Hill 'N' Dale near Lexington, Kentucky.

Bob Baffert is an avid Seattle Slew fan; the trainer visited the champion just weeks before he died. When I saw that she was headed to Hill 'N' Dale, I thought Vindication right away. Baffert owns Vindy's first-born, by the way. She is a filly, born January 1, 2005.:)

this mating features the time worn, successful, Slew/Mr Prospector cross. other than that i'm not excited about this mating.
