A white Cleveland police officer was just found not guilty of manslaughter in the deaths of two unarmed black men. Their old car backfired outside police station leading officers to conclude they were firing weapons, a 22 mile high speed chase ensued involving 62 cop cars. Once stopped, 13 officers fired 137 shots at the car, each man shot at least 20 times. The officer charged fired 49 shots, the last 15 through the windshield while standing on the hood of the car! What the hell is happening in this country???:zz:

Might have slightly been due to the driver ramming a squad car once pulled over after the 100mph half hour chase. Just glad no innocent people just going about their day were hurt. Meanwhile in other news a 4 year old girl was shot in the head by gangbangers last night. For sitting in a car!

As a matter of fact yes! Another innocent girl, this time a 5-year old was killed by a hit and run. The 4-year old innocent girl shot in the head Friday by gangbangers is still alive but in ICU. Halfway thru the Memorial Day weekend, 6 killed and 23 wounded, none by police, all in Chicago.

But why worry/stress over the happenings over the past 2 days in one city when two habitual criminals, high on coke, on a 20 mile, 100mph car chase, trying to ram a squad car when finally boxed in, were killed 3 years ago? :wf

BTW I'll keep everyone posted of further happenings and thanks for your concern. And again I'm thankful no police or citizens/bystanders were killed or injured as a result of these two criminals' flight from 63 squad cars.

Umm they were all charged with murder and possibly face RICO charges. Meanwhile no biker shootings since and add another woman and 3 more shot early this morning in Chirac no one arrested and charged and no RICO charges against any Chicago gang since the El Rukens.

And your lack of interest into the daily killings in Chicago preferring to focus on 2 killings that occured over 2 years ago?

Once again you go conveniently off target to rationalize the execution of two human beings by police, I guess that's simpler for you than addressing the details of this case. Are you so naïve that you think all of use don't recognize there is evil in the world and it comes in all shapes and sizes. It would be wonderful if we woke up tomorrow to a kinder more fair world where women aren't savaged, children aren't enslaved and murdered and every human being was treated with love, compassion and fairness regardless of his/her skin color, religion or ethnicity. In the mean time when the police we entrust to protect us play cowboy and act like they are in a fire-fight in Nam rather than with a protect and serve mentality, this is a problem and deserves a discussion. Even the police admit that the actions of rogue cops is an issue for everyone...including the mass majority of folks who wear the badge with dignity and honor.

Meanwhile add a 15 year old boy killed and a 14 year old boy shot LAST NIGHT in Chicago to the ever growing list of daily victims no one seems to care about. :wf

A grandma got shot last night watching TV. But police weren't the culprits so no story there. :rolleyes:
