Our Derby Prep was run on Saturday and six players took to the track which made for a pretty close
finish. 7 winning bets were recorded and all four point slots were filled. El Prado and RYonker both had
winning days but failed to hit the superfecta board. Digger got 4th place via his show bet in race 1 and
it held up until the 5th was over. Ruffian edged Digger out by a mere $4 with a win bet on Seve in race
9 and takes down the show spot. Our awesome points scorer Plenilune gets the place spot with a
win bet in race 5 on Thunder's Rollin' worth $6.60 for each deuce. In another close finish the photo for
the win goes to Cruzan200246. Cruzan finishes the day $75.00 to the good by putting $30 on the nose
of Seve in race 9 and he needed every inch of that nose. Congrats Cruzan200246 on the win and while
you don't get to choose the track next Saturday, good luck on a repeat. Following are the unofficial
results pending any objections. Check your tickets and let me know if there are any miscues on my

Well, I definitely didn't have a "blonde moment". Maybe a "grey moment" but the reason Cruzan wins is two of his picks scratched so not only does he have a higher plus total his ROI for the afternoon is higher.

hahahahahahahahaha. I too was confused, but I was about to question my scratches. Arletta warned me about the scratches but I was at the movie. I was able to make the changes on the points until the patrons got irritated.
