Did Dell or any Republican on this board ever say that they were against FEMA and that it should be done away with? It is hilarious that you are trying so desperately to see if you can find any hypocrisy coming from Republicans. If you are looking for hypocrisy, you better look at the other party. I think there are plenty of things that a person can criticize the Republican party about, but hypocrisy would not be high on the list. The other party practically has a monopoly on hypocrisy.
I can't speak for Dell, but I personally am not in favor of ending all or most government programs. I don't know why you would think that most Republicans want to end all or most government programs. Do I think there is a lot of corruption, inefficiency, and waste in a lot of programs? The answer is yes. I would like to see a lot of the waste cut out of these programs. I would like to see plenty of reform. I think there are millions of people that take advantage of the system. But I am still not in favor of ending all these programs. I'm not in favor of letting people in this country starve to death. I think there needs to be some type of safety net there to help the most vulnerable people.
