Ahhh Steve......

I waited until 12 noon, still not seeing your selections I made my way to the OTB. Now I'm kickin myself, I'm 6 deep in the last leg of the NTRA p4 and didn't include the 9! I don't even know what it paid, but it must have been pretty good! Oh well, on to BC day, can't wait for thaT, but this was a crusher to be so close, and still get beat! As they say though, that's racing!

Long time follower, first post... You definitley made me some money at the Spa this year.

I thought I heard you say on your radio show Friday that Scat Daddy was a single for you in the NTRA. I noticed in the online picks you had him excluded.

Just curious why he went from a key to an exclusion.... Maybe I just misheard.

Thanks,

Pat

Because I'm a dope.. I was rushing to get the selections up by 2pm and moved off the winning play I talked about Fri. night on the air.. Ugh.. Did get the late KEE P4 though...

Great day overall.. Hope everyone did well.. Still have add the results to a few of the races above as I went out to dinner..

Steve: great job! Didn't partake of the moola today...layin low til BCC. Keep it going...

PSH 10-14-2006 10:09 PM

Nice Job Steve

Great job Steve on the Keeneland picks today. Not an easy track.
Gorella sure had her hands full today to gut out the win....

Like you, i liked Scat Daddy but instead of a nice win bet at 5-2 like i should have fooled around with 4 doubles and hit my small one with the United... Just got my money back... Lesson learn...

Hope all is well and am already looking forward to next August.

Take care,

Paul

Paul..

It's funny that those are the two horses you bring up, as Scat Daddy and Gorella were the two "singles" that Gus (Bogey) and I talked about on the show Friday and were the two I hemmed and hawwed over yesterday in the final picks. Originally I offered a 3x3x1x5 tick with Gorella singled but then felt really uncomfortable about Gorella in the First Lady. Funny thing though about my 'spread' in the Lady was that I DIDN'T use Karen's Caper! Basically it came down to Nobiz winning the Champage...

Not sure if I'M looking forward to next August... Hope your horse is doing well... Keep everyone informed!

Yeah, i guess you tend to work a little bit harder than the rest of us Derby Trailers who are on vacation....

Taconic Zip was shipped Friday to Saratoga to work out until the training track closes on or about Nov. 11th. She is with my farm trainer Heather Larson at a barn next to Frankels wherever that might be. T Zip is scheduled to have her first published workout either Tuesday or Wednesday on the Oklahoma track breezing 3F, so we are excited about that. She will then be shipped to Carlos Martin at Belmont and should be real close to her first race in December at Aqueduct if everything goes on schedule (which i am learning does not happen that often). The good news is she is doing great and the City Zips continue to impress on almost a daily basis at Belmont. We are getting a little excited as we get closer..

PAUL
