Hi Steve - Any update on Pal? Has he resumed training? Any idea when we'll see a workout or a race coming up? Many thanks.

On farm. Need scan of knee looked at to see how it is before making a decision.

What happened to his knee?

It's been his issue for years.. Had chip taken out, etc.

What's the latest on Pal? Any decisions made regarding his future?

Retired. Two vets saying even with surgery to get chips out, knee won't hold up.

Wins at Belmont and Saratoga.. Not too bad. Thanks to Pal, Gary and the team and all the partners that came along.

We'll miss him. He was our first foray into horse ownership (but not our last).

Did you find him a good home?

Not yet. Decision was only made at 4p yesterday after vet checked scans.

How is Corybant doing?

He's OK and has been in light training but am inclined to not let him run. Mike wonders how long his ankle will hold up and while he could probably win at a low level, neither of us believe it's worth it. Would prefer to retire him sound and am working on a placement for him now.

Best to do what is best for Corybant. My friends I and enjoyed his racing days.

Haven't heard actually. Will get an update.

Corybant will be going to Rodeo Queen Kate Bradley, who adopted and retrained Redboard King, in Wisconsin.
