No More Campaign Ads Day

Finally.

What an interesting night. It only took 6 years for the idiot liberals to screw up the perfect opportunity to run things for the next 30 years.

Kentucky is still a bizarre state that has been controlled by Dems for nearly 100 years. Oddly we typically vote for Republicans to represent us in DC.

Long-standing state rep. Jimmie Lee lost primarily due to Fort Knox closures.

I expect the worthless state dems to prevent Rand Paul from running for President and Senator.

Alison Lundergan Grimes should never run for office again. She and her father are embarrassments to this fine state.

What an interesting night, indeed.

Many lessons, including that old political names mean nothing. Besides Grimes (KY), see
Carter (GA)
Nunn (GA)
Begich (AK)
Pryor (AR)

and most of all, Clinton. Bill & Hill's endorsements didn't help Pryor, and their considerable investment in Anthony Brown (MD) didn't pay off for Ms. Cattle Futures. Again, that's in Maryland, where Dems outnumber Reps 2-1.

GOP, take notice. If you nominate Jeb Bush, you're stewpid.

I agree 100%. Don't want Bush as the candidate. New blood if possible.

You are not the only one

Rand Paul is getting access to Mitch's war chest.

Jeb won't fare well in the primary debates.

Rudeboyelvis 11-05-2014 09:26 AM

Congrats, Iowa - your newly appointed Senate Representative doesn't believe in climate change because she has yet to see "Proven Proof":

And the beat goes on....just have to pull the old scripts out

Dismal ROI for Tom Steyer. Maybe he'll go back to coal?

Pants II 11-05-2014 11:01 AM

Where are the sustainable green energy alternatives?

Is there a true green energy company that has shown a profit for at least a 5 year pattern?

Climate change is a pointless issue when China and India are more than willing, and will, make up for our lowering emissions.

One thing that will not go down no matter what party is in charge are your utility bills.

For those who truly care about the environment why aren't you living in mud huts?

Any realistic approach to sustainable green energy is squelched by the oil/coal industries with help from private interests in conjunction with the bought and paid for legislators.

In Florida, Duke Energy gave Rick Scott 1.2 million dollars to subsidize his victorious gubernatorial run - meanwhile in a state with 320 days of sunshine on average, solar sputters to a dead stop. Coincidence?

You can, literally, cover the roof of your house here with solar panels and create enough energy to SELL SOME OF IT back to Duke. Won't ever happen. You can never recoup the cost of the investment.

Meanwhile...Flat screen TV's go from 4000.00 to 299.00 in the space of 8 years-constantly developing and improving technology to bring better quality, lighter weight, cost effective products to market - yet solar panel technology is mired in the same back-assward, go nowhere rut it's been in for ages. Coincidence?

Pants II 11-05-2014 12:04 PM

RBE...the democrats gave utility companies the local monopolies.

1935.

You would think that if they have tapped into the solar spectrum that it would have been leaked in this information age.

Unless you want to talk about the reptillian humanoids.

So, Canadians have been Gruberized, too.

Pants II 11-14-2014 03:20 PM

Don't take offense if you're a baby boomer but that's pretty much the majority demographic of people who believe unemployment is truly under 6%.

This generation has gladly given up their rights for the illusion of security.

It's a shame because there are a few good eggs in the generation. Unfortunately the majority of them are imbeciles.
