Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told audience members at a campaign rally Friday night not to listen to anybody who says “businesses create jobs.”

"Don’t let anybody tell you it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs"

Did we just jump the shark?

She's a freaking moron. She also said that they last time the minimum wage was raised, millions of jobs were created. An illuminating display of economic ignorance, which of course her followers will swallow whole.

GenuineRisk 10-27-2014 07:46 AM

She's not wrong; she's just going a step farther back. Demand for product by consumers creates jobs. Corporations have been very content the last several years to hold onto their piles of cash, rather than do anything with it, so I see her point.

Pants II 10-27-2014 07:54 AM

You would agree with her though. You hate the origins of this country and are a traitor.

She'll be next President thanks to dumb white idiots like you. Now you can call us sexist instead of racist.

The worthless, gimme dat Boomer generation.

joeydb 10-27-2014 12:30 PM

She just had her "You didn't build that" moment.

Unbelievable.

And the way she said it leaves no wiggle room. They are trying to backpedal now and say it was about corporate tax rates.

That quote should run every day from Wednesday November 5th until Election Day 2016 in a political ad.

If only something mattered besides political correctness. The campaign will be if you disagree with her you are anti-woman. Whatever - we are not compelled to support such stupidity.

OldDog 10-27-2014 01:14 PM

Bill Clinton weighs in in a 30 second campaign spot for Alison Lundergan Grimes:

"Nobody can tell me it’s not a senator’s job to create jobs."

So THAT'S what they're supposed to be doing. Who knew?

Pants II 10-27-2014 01:27 PM

I wouldn't be surprised that the actions of these lunatics and their sycophants will bring about a much longer, far more primitive Dark Ages in the next 100 years.

I would be absolutely shocked if she is the next president. I think she has no chance whatsoever...

Considering that the Republitards are all but committed to trotting this thing out

No way I'd be shocked if she ran and won

Pants II 10-27-2014 02:14 PM

There will be at least 10 million more registered democrats by 2016...most of them won't speak the language but meh..

Seriously this country is toast.

They might get lucky and get 15 more years of this ponzi scheme but it's inevitably going to end. And end badly.

2008 proved that one does not actually need qualifications in order to become president - just political correctness and a sycophantic press.

Like there's any significant difference between the two.

I'm sure this will be rebutted with fickle social issues like abortion or some hot button fake equal rights issue that no sane person cares about. Or a link to Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert.

Jon Stewart is a yes man with no spine. A jester to make the idiot masses chuckle while their Lords hoard everything of value.
