Fast & Yielding??

Belmont ended Friday with a fast dry track and soft turf course... If the rain holds off through Satuday evening, hopefully we'll see fast and yielding...maybe even good turf??

zippy - Good turf is a stretch, as it rained for a little bit after the races here, and there's chances of thundershowers until 3 AM overnight. My guess is yielding turf, but if we get hit with those T-showers, it might still be soft.

I'll let you guys know if it starts raining here. ;)

Just got home and didn't see any rain tonight! Should be fast and yielding like my man zippy said!

I am in CT on the other side of Long Island Sound from Belmont. 50 miles or so as the crow flies. Rained a bunch again last night. Is overcast and drizzling right now. Supposed to be very windy (20 to 30 mph) with some sun today. Fast and soft by mid afternoon is my guess.
