An interesting opener today at Suffolk

Take a look at today's opening race at Suffolk...

This 5-year-old was the 8/5 morning line favorite...

She won in the final time of 1:48.50 for the mile.

A $12,000 claimer at Pocono Downs recently went a mile in 1:48.40 in a harness race.

Here's a replay of today's opener at Suffolk...just watch the stretch run of this eyesore...I don't know who was more exhausted in the stretch, the #2 horse, or the jockey riding the #2 horse.

I wouldn't be too pleased if you bet the 2 in that race.

Jean Claude Medina should send that replay to Bob Baffert and Todd Pletcher...and demand rides.

Even though he appeared to quit riding, the horse was flat-out stopping under him. It was a funny race.

You are being way too kind. That was an ugly stretch "duel"

Ok Doug, you've got me hooked. What kind of figure did she get for the win?

That was funny. I could picture some of the regulars at Kentucky Downs going nuts about the jockey "quit riding". To them, horses never get tired. It's always, ALWAYS the jocks fault.
