I have seen him and he is very impressive. It would be a huge win for his scotland connections. It would not shock me if he won. If Tiz Wonderful, Nobiz like Shobiz, and Scat Daddy all show up, I would lean towards Tiz Wonderful but the son of Street Cry might be something special.

Dean McKeown got him for only $15K. I am sure the people in KY would love to see a gelding from Scotland win the derby. Atleast he is a KY bred.

Dear Big Timer,

Well sorry to say I missed the race but heard you were last.

Try to remember Dear..... if another horse tell you it's opposite day, kindly don't listen.

Thanks for trying.

I'm not sure how much it mattered, but when you see him at the start, it looks like he got out really weird. He broke in a pack, but you see his jock pop up and down kinda violently, like he was really rank, or maybe the jock lost his reigns. It just looked like a weird awkwards start for him... But in the end, he was still just another Dylan Thomas.

Oh thanks for telling me! I still haven't seen the replay so I appreciate it.

To be honest (and regardless of how he did over) here i love Dylan so I guess at least he's in good company. :D

A few things about this horse...

I think the rider was wearing an astronaut's helmet. Did anyone see that thing?

Considering where he finished it's pretty amazing he was only a few off the lead on the turn.

Did anyone watch the head-on of the stretch? The horse was a solid 15 or more lengths behind the second to last horse into the lane and the rider was violently pumping away. It didn't do a lot of good....he lost by well over 100. Perhaps he was doing an odd aerobic exercise.

So I guess you weren't impressed..... :D

I'm amazed at how much money the horse took. How the hell was he a significantly shorter price than Pegasus Wind ( who I was forced to bet due to his crazy odds....21-1 )?

Yeah when the replay of this becomes available, I blieve Big Tymer was the 7 horse. Watch his jobck at the start the way his bobs up and down... It didn't look "natural".
