"Slap Ya Mama" ads now banned by NFL

Walker & Sons Inc. — received an email from Cox Media Louisiana Director of Sales Marc Leunissen informing them that “in light of the domestic violence issues facing the NFL, (the league) instructed CST (to) pull the Slap Ya Mama logo from our enhancements in the last (preseason) game,” which is Thursday in New Orleans against Baltimore. Walker & Sons says it believes the NFL told Cox Media to do this Monday.

PC run amok. Damn good spices too

Wow.... Knock out your fiancée and get 2 games, have a tongue in cheek name of a product and get banned for life..

It should say, "In light of the domestic violence issues facing the NFL, the league has determined it appropriate to suspend for only two games a well known football player who actually beat a woman unconscious, while effectively muting the advertising of a popular spice company whose name may or may not be offensive to a person or persons unknown."

:zz:

"ESPN regrets... we collectively failed to meet the standards we have set in reporting on LGBT-related topics in sports."

Of the NfL and EspN, I don't know who is more ridiculously pc.

This is a fine example of why I will not support the NFL.

Democrats are the enemy

It's not even that. It's a popular southern phrase that has been around for as long as I can remember being alive.

Anything delicious was "slap ya mama" good.

Fuc1<ing disgusting ass clowns have even polluted our most heralded pastime with their goddamned poison.

Can't agree enough. I've been a huge fan of the Barclay's Premiere League as well and would choose it over this nonsense in a heartbeat.

From watching a dude lose his career for a year over some weed, while honest hard-working sponsors get fuc1<ed over out of complete ignorance, to watching guys get suspended for 2 games for playing the game, oh, and also the same 2 games for cold cocking and knocking out an unsuspecting woman.... the NFL is a complete and absolute joke. Roger Goodell isn't qualified to run a fuc1<ing Carvel, much less a professional sports league.
